As the year is about to end, who will make it to your list of favorite "TV Couples?"

TV shows are all the more exciting after characters are made to fall in love with each other. They have the chemistry and are practically the reason why most viewers watch the series-they want to find out what these hot couples would do all in the name of "onscreen" love.

The great part is that some of them are actually real life couples and some are far from being an item because of their sexual orientation. The stars of the fairytale-filled series "Once Upon a Time" have a fantastic couple, "Emma and Captain Hook". In the fairytales, Hook is a waxed up old guy but in the series "Once Upon a Time" he is utterly handsome and is in love with Emma, who has a thing with Neil. You have to watch the series to find out what's up and about in the town of Storybrooke.

The mid finale of "The Vampire Diaries" certainly took a turn as team Delena (Elena and Damon) find themselves in trouble after Damon decides to make a choice that would mean he and Elena cannot be together. Catherine (a doppelganger of Elena) is in love with Stefan and it seems like Stefan is still in love with Elena and now that his brother Damon is out of the picture (for a while) would he try to get Elena back?

The mid season finale of "How I Met Your Mother" made everyone's favorite bro, a real cool husband-to-be as he surprises Robin (Colbie Smulders) during their rehearsal wedding. Barney Stinston, played by Neil Patrick Harris has the coolest onscreen relationship with Robin and though the two do not seem like sweet and cuddly type of couple, they make being in love feel and look so awesome.
