Bethesda to cap off E3 2016 Showcase with Blink-182 performance, ‘Skyrim’ remaster, ‘Wolfenstein 2’ and ‘Dishonored 2’ expected
Bethesda’s E3 conference is already anticipated given the rumours of new title reveals and post-launch content updates. But it appears that the publisher is looking to cap off the presentation with a nostalgic bang
Punk rock band Blink-182 (“What’s My Age Again,” “I Miss You” and “All The Small Things”) will be sending off fans on good rockin’ vibes as they cap off the show for the BE3 Plus event, GameSpot reported.
The Bethesda 2016 E3 Showcase and the BE3 Plus event had been open for registration to the public. Over at the official website, Bethesda has even shown off a quick lineup of events, seen in the image above.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. on June 12. The Bethesda 2016 E3 Showcase will start at 7:00 p.m., while BE3 Plus will start at 8:00 p.m. Blink-182 will then take the stage at 9:00 p.m. to cap off the event.
The good thing about the BE3 Plus is that the publisher will still livestream the event, for those who can’t be there in person.
For the actual showcase of games, Bethesda is expected to show more “Dishonored 2,” since its release date is expected this November. Additionally, Eurogamer also hinted that three more titles, all of which will be sequels, may also be announced at the event. These include “The Evil Within 2,” “Wolfenstein 2” and “Prey 2”
Bethesda is also rumoured to bring in the remastered edition of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” at the event. According to Gematsu, the speculations come from industry insider Shinobi602 and Enter the Dragon Punch from NeoGAF.
Without speaking in definite terms, the tipsters stated that they do expect the remaster to be announced. The latter tipster also added that the remaster version may also include all of the DLC expansions, support and improved graphics for the remastered version.
