It's that time of the year when some of Hollywood's best actors and actresses are awarded for their excellent work in various movies such as "Gravity," "American Hustle" and "August: Osage Country."

Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated once again for her role in "American Hustle" where she plays the wife of Bradley Cooper, the tandem seem to have a lot going on for each other as they always seem to make it to the list of nominations.

Lawrence is nominated under the category for "Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture" with contenders June Squibb (Nebraska), Lupita Nyong'O (12 Years a Slave), Julia Roberts (August: Osage County) and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine).

"Gravity" star Sandra Bullock is up against contenders in the category of "Best Actress for a Motion Picture" with the likes of Cate Blanchett for "Blue Jasmine," Kate Winslet for "Labor Day," Judi Dench for "Philomena" and Emma Thompson for "Saving Mr. Banks."

Not new to winning awards is Meryl Streep. She is once again nominated for her role in "August: Osage County" and is nominated for a Golden Globe as "Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy" and will be contending against Amy Adams for "American Hustle," Greta Gerwig for "Frances Ha," Julia Louis-Dreyfus for "Enough Said" and Julie Delpy for "Before Midnight."

These actresses have been busy and are well known for their craft. It is good to know that many others also think that they should win a Golden Globe, the youngest among them, Jennifer Lawrence who has already won her own Oscar at the age of 22 being one of the youngest to win.
