Is Benedict Cumberbatch more popular than the power packed duo of Beyoncé and Jay Z? Reportedly, Benedict is a hot favourite amongst the people of UK according to the report by ticketing website, Viagogo.

It has been suggested that the actor who has became a household name after the hit BBC series, "Sherlock," is also set to to star in a 12-week stage play based on Shakespeare's Hamlet next August. The production house responsible for the show has come much in demand, so much so, that it has become one of the most popular outlet in the country according to E!.

"CUMBERDASH - Benedict's Hamlet steals the title of most in-demand theatre show of all time #Hamlet #Cumberbatch," tweeted Viagogo.

The refreshed version of Hamlet would begin on Aug. 5, 2015 and would continue till Oct. 31, 2015. The tickets of the show are almost sold out and there are 214% more queries for the play then it had been about Beyoncé and Jay Z "One The Run" tour according to the website report.

Cumberbatch clearly has a huge fan following and was seen in some power packed performances in the movies including "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," "August: Osage County," and "12 Years a Slave." Benedict has also earned three Emmy nominations for his role in "Sherlock."

Benedict would be next seen playing the role of a mathematic genius Alan Turning in the "Imitation Game."

"I'm actually feeling it a bit this morning. I've been doing a hell of a lot of running recently. It's because I'm playing Alan Turing, who, as well as being an absolute genius, was a very good marathon runner. It's great, though. I love it. Yep, I'm playing yet another brainy guy," said the actor about playing the role to the Big Issue.

Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z are also plagued by divorce rumours since the famous May 5 elevator brawl. The two are yet to give an official statement on the alleged rumours.
