Beyoncé Stops Her Concert to Sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Fan [Video]
It takes more than talent to be a star. However, not all the people who are more blessed than the rest are successfully able to exhibit the more sensitive side of theirs to the people who made them celebrities: their fans. Beyoncé is now among those celebs that show love for their fans going out of their way.
Beyoncé stopped her Birmingham concert when she came to know that one among her fans in the audience was celebrating her birthday. She sat on the stairs, held the hand of her fan and sang "Happy Birthday" to her fan.
It must have been the most wonderful birthday Shehnaz Khan has ever spent in the 22 years of her life. At least, it must be the most famous birthday she had so far. The 22nd birthday of shahnaz became ultra-special when Beyoncé paused in the middle of her performance at the LG Arena. Beyoncé asked the fan her name and then wished her happy birthday in the most musical manner Khan might have imagined. It was Beyoncé's Birmingham leg of The Mrs Carter Show World Tour, The Daily Mail reported.
Beyoncé told her fan that she had got the "sign and everything". Then she asked for the fan's name and how she would spell it. It must be one of the very special moments for Khan when Beyoncé held her hand before singing exclusively for her. Khan is a City University student who said that she had found the moment "incredible."
Khan talked about the special moment to the Birmingham Mail. She said that she was wearing one birthday badge that Beyoncé noticed in the earlier part of the show. According to Khan, Beyoncé even nodded acknowledging it. The birthday girl could not believe that Beyoncé would stop the show only to wish her happy birthday. She said that she had unknowingly recorded the moment in her mobile phone.
