Just because she's pregnant doesn't mean that Beyonce won't rock platform heels. Even at the fifth month of her pregnancy, the Grammy winner stepped out in Alain Quilici's Payson Skate Lace-Up Booties on Tuesday while she was in New York City.

The $1,180 shoes have a unique look to them in that the heel and toe of the booties are connected by a 1 inch platform that mimics the look of an ice skate.

Many have speculated on how being pregnant could affect Beyonce's style as she is something of a style icon. With these booties, Beyonce shows that fashion insiders need not have worried. Truly, the 29-year-old hasn't let motherhood slow down her style.

The singer has been spotted wearing thigh high miniskirts and gorgeous tall heels around the city and fashionistas have been quick to note that even when pregnant, Queen B still turns heads with her signature diva style.

The singer wed husband, Jay-Z, in April 2008 and has been reported as saying that she wanted to have a baby by the time she turned 30 in previous interviews. Beyonce announced her pregnancy informally at Aug.'s MTV Video Music Awards by showing up on the red carpet with her pronounced baby bump in full view and claimed that she had a surprise for everyone.

"I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me," the singer saidlater on in her performance of "Love on Top."

At the end of her electrifying performance, Beyonce unbuttoned her jacket to proudly show off her stomach while cameras captured the father-to-be's elated reaction. The former Destiny's Child front woman's sister, Solange Knowles, tweeted a cryptic message that showed exactly how she was feeling about the revelation; a feeling that most of Beyonce's fans all share.
