It is no longer to possible to buy Beyonce's new self-titled album, "Beyonce," from Target. Target has decided not sell "Beyonce" once its exclusive sales deal with iTunes ended on December 18, 2013.

"At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections," Erica Julkowski, a spokesperson of Target, said to Billboard. "While there are many aspects that contribute to our approach and we have appreciated partnering with Beyonce in the past, we are primarily focused on offering CDs that will be available in a physical format at the same time as all other formats."

Julkowski added that "At this time, Target will not be carrying Beyonce's new self-titled album "Beyonce."

Target's decision to stop selling "Beyonce" is unlikely to have an effect on the popularity of the album or the number of copies sold. Huffington Post reports that "Beyonce" made a record creating debut, selling 828,773 copies in its first weekend.

Mrs. Carter: Apple and Columbia Records said to The Huffington Post that "Beyonce" has sold more than 1 million copies in the worldwide iTunes Store

The self-titled album was released on December 13, 2014, without promotion, the usual gimmicks associated with an album release and pre-release announcement.

"Now ... it's all about the single and the hype," Beyonce had said as quoted by Huffington Post. "It's so much that gets between the music and the artist and the fans. i felt like I don't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans ... I would make my best art and just put it out."

"Beyonce" consists of 14 songs and 17 videos. Physical retailers are expected to receive the album on December 20, 2013. However, the album meant for physical retailers will not come with additional bonus or any exclusive content.
