BFF's Taylor Swift and Lorde Catch Up in New York [PHOTOS]

While Selena Gomez was caught enjoying the company of Jennifer Aniston, her BFF Taylor Swift was spotted out and about in NYC with a "Royal." Grammy award winner Lorde was photographed with her BFF, Taylor Swift. The BFFs took some time to catch up during their lunch at the Big Apple.

On Monday, Swift and Lorde were seen at Tiny's & The Bar Upstairs in NYC. Swift wore a red dress by Oscar de la Renta which she matched with Prada heels and a brown bag by Tod's. On the other hand, Lorde donned a dark green dress paired with black tights and black boots. Taking cue from Swift, Lorde ditched the purple lipstick for scarlet rouge.

This isn't the first time the BFF's were spotted out and about. Back in February, Lorde was seen shopping with Swift in Los Angeles and before that the pair had a beach outing right at Swift's beachfront home. While the pairs' friendship is normal for some, a few reports claim that the pair is gay.

In an interview with Kyle Sandilands of KIIS FM, Lorde talked about her growing friendship with Swift. However, the Australian radio host took this as a cue to ask if Lorde and Swift were becoming more than just friends.

"Are you going to confirm now you're in a lesbian relationship with her?" asked Kyle.

"Don't even try it. It's not working," responded Lorde.

For one, Lorde is in a relationship with James Lowe. Taylor Swift on the other hand is single despite reports that she's dating "Scrubs" star, Zach Braff.

Prior to Lorde's NYC meet up with Swift, the 17-year old songstress hit the stage at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas where she also took home the award for Top New Artist. Check out the slideshow to see more of the "Royals" singer at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
