"The Big Bang Theory" Season 1 started with four quirky nerds and a blonde. In the first season, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) wanted to impress Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Howard (Simon Helberg) wanted a girl, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) went mute in front of women, and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) was being Sheldon and had a low opinion of Penny.

Over the years, all the characters have evolved. Leonard and Penny are in a relationship. Howard is married to Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). Sheldon has Amy (Mayim Bialik) in his life, and also he and Penny share a sweet bond. Raj can now talk in front of women, without needing the help of alcohol.

Penny and Sheldon getting closer in the absence of Leonard is one of the highlights of the new season. According to synopsis of CBS, they are going to share intimate secrets. We know that Sheldon is not "crazy" as his mom got him tested. We are curious to know the nature of intimate secrets that is going to tumble out, and who will be sharing the most. Leonard will arrive in the second episode to spoil the intimate bonding between Sheldon and Penny, which will leave Sheldon crestfallen.

According to E! Online TV Scoop, Leonard will be partying and drinking at the North Sea. Kristin says, "When Penny and Sheldon reach out to call their beloved experimental physicist, Leonard is making waves and partying it up with multiple ladies."

Sheldon and Amy will have no or less scenes, together in the premiere episodes. Amy and Bernadette will hit the road for some girls' time, together. Jim Parsons had told Variety, "Amy's taken on such a life of her own."

CBS' hit sitcom returns on Thursday, September 26, with a new season. The hour-long premiere will consist of two episodes: "The Hofstadter Insufficiency" and "The Deception Verification."

"Sheldon and Penny share intimate secrets while Leonard is away at sea, later, Sheldon's feelings are crushed when Leonard returns. Meanwhile, Raj gets consoled about his ex-girlfriend and Wolowitz's relationship with his mother causes an unusual threat to his masculinity," according to the synopsis of CBS.
