‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 8 Spoilers: Premiere Episode Title, Sheldon’s Location Revealed
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 is set to premiere on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, with an episode titled "The Locomotion Interruption." CBS has released the first official synopsis of the episode that reveals that Sheldon is in Arizona.
The last season of this hugely popular comedy series wrapped-up with Sheldon calling up Amy from an undisclosed location. He sounded happy and that made Amy hit Leonard with a cushion. The synopsis reveals that Leonard and Amy will take a road trip to Arizona. The purpose of the trip is to get Sheldon back to Pasadena.
Overwhelmed with changes that were happening around him and in his life, Sheldon had decided to get on a train and exit Pasadena to discover himself. One of the changes was Leonard and Penny's engagement. The newly engaged couple was planning to move in together, without Sheldon. This development disturbed Sheldon and when Amy suggested that they start living together, he was more upset.
As previously reported, Penny will be joining Bernadette's company as a pharmaceutical sales representative. The first episode will see Penny giving her interview for the job. She is going to be hired and will be bringing home good money. This is going to cause friction between Leonard and Penny. And, these two are not getting married soon, and most likely not in Season 8.
The Season 7 finale also saw the burning down of Stuart's comic-bookstore. Stuart became Mrs Wolowitz's care-taker. Unlike the previous care takers, Stuart and Howard's mother hit it off and they were, instantly, on first-name basis. The synopsis of the new episode suggests that Howard will be "weirded out" by Stuart and his mother's relationship.
Meanwhile, the show will get its comic-store. It has not yet been revealed in which episode the new comic-store will open.
