"The Big Bang Theory" returns this Monday, with two new episodes of Season 8 --"The Locomotion Interruption" and "The Junior Professor Solution." The first episode will reveal the whereabouts of Sheldon and also show his return to Pasadena. A sneak peek featuring Sheldon's return to his apartment has been released.

The last season finale of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 saw Leonard and Penny telling everyone about their engagement, and Raj announcing that he slept with Emily. Stuart's comic store burned down and he moved into Mrs. Wolowitz's house as her caretaker. Sheldon was overwhelmed with the changes that were taking place around him. These changes include Leonard and Penny planning to move in together, without him, the burning down of the comic-store, Amy suggesting that she and Sheldon start living together. Also, he was unable to change the topic of his research. Overwhelmed with all the changes, Sheldon decided to leave Pasadena.

In episode 1, as reported previously, Sheldon will give a call to Leonard from Arizona, as he has got robbed and his train journey has come to an abrupt halt because of that. Leonard and Amy will take an unexpected road trip to pick up Sheldon.

According to the sneak peek, Sheldon returns to his apartment ready to deal with any change that comes his way. But, one look at Penny and his confidence to take on any change comes crumbing down. Penny is sporting a pixie-haircut. Sheldon sees that and walks out of the apartment after saying, "your hair is different. You changed your hair. I can't take this. I'm out." The leaked spoilers have revealed that Penny will go after Sheldon and convince him to return.

Meanwhile, Penny is set to go for an interview at Bernadette's company. She is going to get the job because Bernadette's boss and Penny bond over their common fear -- Bernadette. And, Howard will find it difficult to handle Stuart, as he will start acting like his father and would be showing no intention to move out of his mother's house. Raj and Emily are still in a relationship when "The Big Bang Theory" returns with new episodes of Season 8.
