'Big Brother Australia' Betting Lines Already Open for 2014 - New South Welsh are the Favorites; Tasmanians the Underdogs
“Big Brother Australia” just came to an end on Nov 6, 2013, but the fans of the popular show can already look forward to the next edition.
Now available: betting for the winner of the next “Big Brother Australia” in 2014 at online sportsbook sportsbook.com.au!
The biggest reality show in Australia drew over 900,000 viewers for its 10th season with Tim Dormer being named the ultimate winner among the initial 12 housemates— and reaching 21 after some surprise “intruders”-- who had to go through the usual interesting and taxing Big Brother challenges during the season.
The 29-year-old Environmental Science student from Sydney bagged the $250,000 first place prize and will be best remembered for putting himself up for eviction during Week Four of the season among many other memorable winning moments.
Tim was actually a 1.85-point favourite in the betting lines when there were only three housemates left.
For those new to entertainment betting, this means that for every $100 a bettor have placed on Tim being a winner, that bettor would have earned $85 for the wager.
The simple formula is: X (Amount of Bet) times Betting Odds (i.e., 1.5, 2.5, 51.0, etc) = Total Payout
