“Big Brother Australia” newest evictee Lisa Clark has had help from a former housemate in entering the house. The 29-year-old strip club manager admitted Tully Smyth of the 2013 series has helped her become a housemate.

While evictee Jake Richardson denied that his roommate Tim Dormer, the winner of last year’s edition and Tully’s fellow housemate, had helped him secure a part in the house, Lisa was even proud to admit that she used her connection.

“It is completely true,” she replied to Scoopla’s Benjamin Norris when asked if it’s true that Tully handpicked her for the part.

“So I was working for General Pants, she came in for PR showing and said to me, ‘You are amazing. You’d be perfect for Big Brother. Text him,’” she said, referring to executive producer Alex Mavroikadis.

However, Lisa said she still went through the usual audition process.

Like Jake, though, she also couldn’t contain her dislike of intruder Leo, whom she already called fake during her post-eviction interview with Sonia Kruger.

“The whole TV thing, I couldn’t buy it,” Lisa said of Leo supposedly not owning a television. “He’s not all ‘Namaste’ as he made out to be. It’s clear that the guy has a TV and he’s been watching. Anyone in his right mind going to a situation like that, you’d watch it.”

She had regret in the house, though. Lisa thought that she made a mistake in not nominating her former house partner Skye.

“I regret the way I nominated. I should have been smarter with it,” she said, adding that she was deliberating whether to nominate Skye or not. She nominated David for 3 points and Lisa for 2 points instead.

“Had I given her one point, she would have been up, and I would have been cleared, as would Aisha and Cat. So that’s my biggest regret.”

However, even if she had nominated Skye with one point or even with four, Lisa would still end up being nominated, and ultimately evicted.

The nominees for the week were David (18 points), Travis (8), Jake (7), Skye (6) and a three-way tie among Aisha, Cat and Lisa, all with five points each. There should at least be five nominees every week, and with Skye’s points already ahead of them, even if she added a few more points towards Skye’s way, it still wouldn’t matter; she would still be nominated.

She didn’t count on Skye nominating her for three points, though.

“I hadn’t thought that she had nominated me, so I kinda wanted to pay that back. That’s definitely my biggest regret.”

Lisa entered the house as Skye’s partner after the bubbly 20-year-old barista picked her. Based on their psychological profiles, though, they were a bad match, and it definitely showed on air. Apart from Skye, Lisa’s biggest opponent in the house was David, whom she had been engaged in a shouting match a few days before she was evicted.

Although she’s known to be feisty, she isn’t above admitting that she had mistakes as well.

“I think I was a bit too harsh sometimes and that’s what I’ll take from this experience,” she told news.com.au.

As for the rumours that she had dated South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess, Lisa said that it’s simply not true.

“I’ve definitely never dated Sam Burgess. I lived with his ex-girlfriend so that’s how I met him and his family.”
