“Big Brother Australia” evictee Sam Bramham’s girlfriend wasn’t happy with Sandra’s crush on him. The Paralympic gold medallist said Michaela didn’t like the backrubs he gave to his fellow housemate Sandra, who has a crush on him.

In the house, Sandra’s feelings for Sam were an open secret. The 30-year-old retail manager struggled to keep her love for him under control, but Sam friendzoned her immediately.

“You’ll always going to be someone else’s,” Sandra cried to him, to which he replied that he would always be her friend.

Although Sandra later on claimed that her feelings for him have toned down to friendship, some of their fellow housemates still thought that her world revolved around Sam.

Sam’s “someone else” was understandably not happy about the other woman’s closeness with her man.

“She wasn’t happy about a few things,” he said of Michaela. “Definitely some of the back rubs and those things, she wasn’t too happy about that. I wouldn’t be either.

“At the end of the day, we have our relationship and we trust each other. She knows I didn’t cross the line. She’s fine – she trusts me and I trust her.”

Bramham insisted that although he was aware of how Sandra felt about him, they “never crossed the line,” while Michaela admitted that it took her some time to process Sam and Sandra’s “platonic” relationship.

“When I first started watching I was really happy about the friendship because it was someone he could lean on,” Michaela said. However, when Sandra’s seemingly harmless crush evolved into something deeper, that’s when things got “very uncomfortable” to watch for Michaela.

“He is very compassionate and it would be hard for him to let [Sandra] down,” she said. “But I am just not into... if someone’s taken, someone’s taken. Obviously that makes me uncomfortable but I don’t dislike her and if Sam likes her, I trust his judgment. They are in artificial circumstances which exacerbates the situation.”

In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, Sam explained Sandra’s importance in his life inside the Big Brother house.

“Without her, it would have been a struggle,” he said of the blonde beauty. “I needed her and I’m guessing she needed me, too.”

Sam and Sandra’s relationship might have been just platonic, but it’s difficult to say the same thing about their fellow housemates Cat and Lawson’s.

According to news.com.au, Lawson’s girlfriend, Candice Leeder, has deactivated her social media accounts after Cat and Lawson’s controversial sanctuary date episode was aired. In the sanctuary, the two were heard kissing under the duvet.
