“Big Brother Australia” double fake eviction episode has seen one housemate truly and well evicted from the house, and another just hiding in the sanctuary. Also, last season’s favourite housemate Ben Zabel came back for a secret mission.

Ben from Brisbane

Last year, Big Brother pulled the same fake eviction prank on Ben, who thought he was about to face the real world. He had the most number of votes, and therefore was the one fake-evicted. After he was “evicted,” he stayed inside the Presidential Suite and had been privy to information about the housemates. He walked back in the house after a few days, much to the surprise of his fellow housemates.

Ben became the 11th housemate to be evicted on series 2013.

Fake-Evicted: Travis

The housemate who has been up for eviction every week was apparently the most popular with the viewers. Travis took 37 per cent of the votes, the most among his fellow nominees, Sam, Priya, Lawson, Jason and Sandra. He expected to be taken to the studio to meet host Sonia Kruger for his first post-eviction interview, but was instead blindfolded and taken to the sanctuary.

He had a clue that his elimination was a sham when he took off his blindfold and saw Sonia on a monitor. It was exactly how Ben was informed last year, so he didn’t appear as surprised as Ben was.

He will be spending several days in the sanctuary to “reflect” on his attitude in the house and assess what has kept getting him nominated every week. He isn’t alone in the sanctuary, though. Travis was given a companion in the form of Ben, whose mission is to give Travis a “Travs-formation.”

“It’s like ‘Queer Eye for a Straight Guy,’” the openly gay former housemate said, referring to the now-defunct U.S. reality show.

Evicted: Sam

Unfortunately for Sam, his eviction wasn’t fake. No one appeared to be more devastated by his exit than Sandra, who has been pining for the 26-year-old Paralympic gold medallist since the first time she saw him.

Although Sam and Sandra’s relationship wasn’t as intense and perhaps problematic as Cat and Lawson’s, theirs was still a topic of controversy among the housemates during the first weeks. Sandra has been open about her crush on him, and while she later said that they have since developed platonic friendship, some housemates still thought Sandra’s world only revolved around Sam.

Sam told Sonia that he knew from the start Sandra’s feelings for him, but he was glad Sandra didn’t cross the line because she respected his relationship with his girlfriend.

Like the other evicted housemates, he received a $5,000 voucher from AppliancesOnline.com.au.

Aisha and Lawson

After engaging in a screaming match during the Picnic Under the Stars party, the former partners tried to bury the hatchet. Aisha and Lawson still both stood their ground, though Aisha admitted that she went ballistic over what could have just been a small thing.

And while they were talking things out, she also expressed her disapproval over Lawson’s burgeoning relationship with Cat. Although she believed that the two never kissed and have not been romantic outright, Aisha was still uncomfortable with Cat and Lawson’s closeness because he has a girlfriend outside.

Lawson silenced her by saying Aisha doesn’t know what’s the real deal between him and his girlfriend outside the house.

Kiss, Marry and Evict

Big Brother played a game of Kiss-Marry-Kill inside the Diary Room with individual housemates. But instead of Kill, he changed it to “Evict.” The result of the game revealed how the housemates strategize and see their fellow housemates.

Lawson: Kiss Cat, Marry Sandra, Evict Priya

Priya: Kiss Aisha, Marry Ryan, Evict Lawson

Travis: Kiss Aisha, Marry Aisha, Evict Lawson

Sam: Kiss Ryan, Marry Lawson, Evict Travis

Sandra: Kiss Ryan, Marry Sam, Evict Travis

Jason: Kiss Ryan, Marry Skye or Travis, Evict Cat
