“Big Brother Canada” has set a date for season two. The reality show will be back on Slice on March 5, with the producers promising new twists and new yet familiar co-hosts.

Producers are still mum on what the “twists” for the upcoming season would be, but it’s expected that they would be giving clues in the following weeks as premiere date nears.

Season 1 houseguests Gary Levy (a.k.a. Glitter Gary) and Peter Brown will return as well, but not in the house. They will be joining Arisa Cox to host a weekly post-eviction wrap-up show called the Side Show. They will be speaking to the evicted houseguest of the week after the eviction show on Thursdays, helping fans getting their questions for the houseguest answered.

“If you thought season one was full of twists and turns, strap on your seatbelts, Season 2 is going to be a roller coaster ride,” the show’s executive producer, John Brunton, said.

“Fans couldn’t get enough of the show, so we’re bringing them the all-new ‘Big Brother Canada Side Show.’ Sparks will fly.”

“Last season, our Canadian edition of ‘Big Brother’ exceeded all expectations, bringing in record audiences and engaging fans in ways we’d never done before,” Shaw Media SVP of Content, Barbara Williams, said.

“With season 2 chock-full of opportunities for viewers at home to influence the house and never before seen show-altering twists, our new batch of houseguests and fans are in for a wildly exciting ride.”

The first season of “Big Brother Canada” ended in a high note, with Nova Scotia teacher Jillian MacLaughlin taking the grand prize in a controversial win. She beat Gary with four out of seven votes after Gary’s friend, Topaz Brady, mistakenly voted for her instead of Gary.

As a result, Jillian took home the first ever title of “Big Brother Canada” grand winner, along with a $100,000 prize, a Chevy Trax, and $25,000 gift card to The Brick. Topaz’s costly error, meanwhile, left Gary with a $20,000 cash prize.
