Big Day Out 2014 Update: Second Lineup Announced featuring Primus, 360 and Bluejuice

Big Day Out 2014 has updated its current lineup and recently announced the second lineup featuring acts such as Primus, 360 and Bluejuice. A total of 11 acts were added to the artists that were previously announced on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 8 p.m.

According to the official Web site of Big Day Out 2014, its second lineup will include the following bands listed below.

BIG DAY OUT 2014 Second LINEUP:

1. Primus -

An American rock band from California composed of vocalist/bassist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry "Ler" LaLonde and drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander. The band is based in San Francisco, California (CA).

Musical Genres: Alternative, funk rock/metal, experimental and progressive rock

2. 360 -

An Australian hip-hop artist/rapper and singer-songwriter from Melbourne, his real name is Matthew James Colwell. He is sometimes called Uncle 6 /Uncle 60 or simply, 60.

3. Bluejuice -

An Australian rock band from Sydney composed of Jake Stone, James Hauptmann, Jamie Cibej and Stavros Yiannoukas.

4. Vista Chino (formerly Kyuss/Kyuss Lives) -

An American rock band from Los Angeles (LA), California composed of vocalist John Garcia, bassist Nick Oliveri, drummer Brant Bjork and guitarist Bruno Fevery.

5. The Drones -

An Australian rock band from Melbourne composed of vocalist/guitarist Gareth Liddiard, lead guitarist Dan Luscombe, bassist Fiona Kitschin, drummer Michael Noga and keyboardist Steve Hesketh.

6. CSS -

A Brazilian rock band composed of Lovefoxxx, Carolina Parra, Ana Rezende and Luiza Sá. They sing both Portuguese and English songs. CSS stands for Cansei de Ser Sexy, which literally means "I got tired of being sexy."

7. Kerser -

An Australian rapper also known as Emcee Kerser or Kers from Campbelltown, Sydney, his real name is Scott Barrow.

8. Violent Soho -

An Australian punk rock band from Brisbane, Queensland composed of Luke Boerdam and James Tidswell on vocals /guitar, drummer Michael Richards and bassist Luke Henery.

9. Jungle Giants -

An Australian band from Brisbane, Queensland composed of Sam Hales on vocals/guitar, lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bass guitarist Andrew Dooris (backing vocals) and drummer Keelan Bijker.

An Australian hip hop band from Sydney composed of MC Bliss (Jonathan Notley), Australian MC Eso (Max MacKinnon) and DJ Izm (Tarik Ejjamai). The trio was originally called Bliss N' Esoterikizm.

These 11 acts will join the other 32 acts that were announced earlier, including Pearl Jam, Snoop Dogg, Arcade Fire, The Lumineers, Tame Impala and Blur, for a total of 43 acts all in all.

The Big Day Out 2014 update about the announcement of its second lineup featuring Primus, 360 and Bluejuice, has further added to the excitement and anticipation of the said music event. In fact, the clamor for it is so high that in New Zealand alone, 100,000 tickets were sold in just 45 minutes!
