Big Nate, the inspiration behind Diary of a Wimpy Kid, strikes again with new installment!
Big Nate, the inspiration behind the book and movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid, is back with a second installement Big Nate Strikes Again in the super-funny series for kids.
The hugely popular comic series also features in children website Poptropica.com, is in the words of Jeff Kinney, author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, is "funny, big time."
In the second installment, Big Nate, the eponymous protagonist in the series, got his heart set on leading his sports team to victory. However, it won't be easy because he's stuck with Gina, his all-time enemy and really rubbish player.
Will Gina stand in the way of greatness?
Followers of the series can find that out for themselves when Harper Collins Australia publishes Big Nate's new adventures come November 1st.
Big Nate Strikes Again is authored by Lincoln Peirce (pronounced 'purse'). Like the character Big Nate, Lincoln began creating comics in the sixth grade. He went on to teach art at a New York City high school. Lincoln created the cartoon-strip character Big Nate in 1991, naming the character after a nickname he gave his older brother as a kid.
Lincoln Peirce lives in Portland, Maine, in the US, and as well as creating Big Nate comic strips and books he hosts a local radio show.
