Big Yearend Filipino Wedding for Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-up Shamcey Supsup to Businessman Lloyd Lee (VIDEOS & PHOTOS)
Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup will marry her Filipino-Chinese businessman boyfriend Lloyd Lee on Dec 29, 2013. Since he comes from a rich Chinese clan, the couple had a Chinese engagement.
However, the wedding, to be held in a Quezon City church, will be Filipino. Reception will be in a ballroom of a big hotel.
The beauty queen explained that since Lloyd is of Chinese descent, they will hold a big wedding which Chinese view as a measure of success. "For them, it's successful if a lot of people were able to witness the wedding of their children," Pep.ph quoted Shamcey.
Unlike her successor, Janine Tugonon, who had a controversial break-up with her ordinary looking boyfriend after she won the Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up title, Shamcey kept her relationship with Lloyd after the international beauty pageant.
This strengthened further their relationship, evidenced by the future groom being hands-on in their nuptial preparations. They attend meetings with suppliers together and he consults her on all decisions.
"It's not just about me, it's about the two of use, so he always comes with me," Shamcey shared.

Their dream wedding will not have a specific theme, but it will feature a lot of lace and pastel colours. She plans to have her gown made by designers Francis Libiran and Cherry Samuya Veric.
Louie Heredia will be their wedding singer, while fellow Binibining Pilipinas candidate Carol Ty will be a member of the entourage. Carol is the cousin of Lloyd and was the one who introduced the soon-to-be wed couple to each other.
Also part of her entourage are two other beauty queens, MJ Lastimosa and Miss Korea Sora Jung.
The 27-year-old beauty queen wants to go to Europe for their honeymoon but since it would be winter, they will postpone the overseas honeymoon trip on Holy Week.
After the wedding, Shamcey will resume her dual career as owner of an architectural company and host of a new show on Lifestyle network. Because of their anticipated busy lives, the couple is not planning a baby yet after their yearend wedding.
