Bill Cosby's Playboy Mansion Secrets Revealed, Former ‘Playmate’ Barbi Benton Reveals Details
The legendary comedian Bill Cosby is facing mounting rape allegations. Recently, a woman filed a lawsuit against him alleging that he had sexually assaulted her inside the Playboy Mansion when she was a minor. A former Playboy cover-girl has confirmed that Cosby was a regular at the Mansion and has revealed some details about his visits.
In an interview with Mail Online, Barbi Benton, 62, a former Playboy "Playmate," has said that she met Cosby when she was still 18-years old and was dating Hugh Hefner at the time. It was year 1968. Benton claimed that she did not know whether the comedian was married or not at the time and she did not ask him about it. However, she noticed that Cosby was a regular visitor at the mansion. Benton knew that the comedian had a Playboy "Bunny" girlfriend who he would regularly visit every Friday and Sunday. Benton remembered that when Cosby's wife Camille was pregnant, instead of staying at home, Cosby would spend his time at the mansion with his alleged lover.
Benson did not reveal the name of Cosby's lover but confirmed that she is not one of the women who has accused the comedian of raping her. She said that Cosby acted like a gentleman and never tried to come on to her during their meetings. Therefore, all the accusations and claims from the alleged victims have taken her by surprise.
Benton believes Hugh Hefner, the owner of the Playboy Mansion, never knew of sexual assault allegations against Cosby. She described Hefner as someone who was very protective of all the women who visited the Playboy Mansion. If he had come to know about the sexual assault allegations, he would have certainly banned Bill Cosby even if he was a close friend, Benton told Mail Online.
As previously reported by the International Business Times, Hefner released a statement saying, "Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening." He also said that he "would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."
