True love knows no age. Despite their 57-year age gap, billionaire Richard Lugner, 81 and his 24-year old girlfriend, Cathy Schmitz, married on Saturday in Austria. Cathy is also a playboy model.

The Daily Mail reported that the wedding was like a fairytale wedding. It had no shortage of romantic elements. The wedding took place at the Schönbrunn Palace.

Lugner and Schmitz also had a horse drawn carriage being led by four Lipizzan horses. They even released two white pigeons into the air. Court ushers were also hired to serve guests with unlimited bottles of champagne.

They Playboy model looked happy as she sported a wide smile and an all-white wedding dress with a long veil to the ceremony. After they exchanged their vows and making their marriage official, the newlyweds paraded through their streets of Vienna along with their friends, family as well as fans.

Here, Cathy changed out of her white gown into a more festive and colourful gown showing off her ample curves. Lugner on the other hand, wore an attire to match his wife's: a formal black, white and grey suit with a purple tie and flower boutonnière.

Despite the fact that this marks Lugner's fifth time to walk down the aisle, Cathy asserted that their love is true. "We did not intend to fall in love. It just happened. Love knows no age," shared the young Playboy model to a German media outlet earlier this year, according to E! Online.

Lugner is quite infamous for paying much younger women to accompany him during events, Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson, and Paris Hilton included among others. Earlier this year, the billionaire made waves when he asserted that Kim Kardashian was annoying after he gave her $500,000 to attend the Vienna Opera Ball as his date in February.

Before the wedding, it has been reported that the wedding cake of Lugner and Schmitz has been attacked last month. According to the Local, a special, large-sale cake was ordered from Aïda bakery at his Lugner City shopping complex. The cake was left on display to be appreciated by passersby, under the instructions of the billionaire. The attacker is currently in custody.

All good now that the wedding finally pushed through.
