Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus definitely go way back. Both stars started out in Disney and have even made cameos for their separate shows. Fans would think Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus would be friends but what's this story going on about that Miley Cyrus un-followed Gomez on Twitter?

Someone might have been a little bit too bitter over death threats sent out by angry fans. Early last week, Miley Cyrus called out Swift and Gomez fans for sending out death threats. Swift and Gomez have not yet reacted to the tweet nor have they bothered to reprimand their fan base for it.

Of course, Miley Cyrus didn't wait too long for a reaction that the former Disney celebrity allegedly un-followed Selena Gomez on the social networking site, Twitter. "Selenators" were quick to claim Miley was simply feeling jealous with the attention Gomez has been getting.

Things may not be going on great between Cyrus and Gomez. Given both stars were present at the Billboard Music Awards 2013 last night, Selena and Miley were not spotted together or had even rubbed elbows during the event once.

This would not the first controversy between Gomez and Cyrus having known that both stars have constantly been compared to one another. It doesn't help that Cyrus and Gomez also share a history with one third of the Jonas brothers, Nick Jonas.

If anything, Cyrus should focus on her career. The bleached blonde beauty announced that her new single would be released by June. Hopefully, this would be enough to shift the attention from Cyrus' issues with Swift and Gomez to the music. The same thing should work on Cyrus' fans as well.
