Bizarre Skin Exfoliation Treatment with Eels Sends Chinese Man to Hospital
A Chinese man had to undergo a surgery to remove an eel on his penis. Zhang Nan, 56, had an unusual spa treatment to get rid of his dead skin cells and look younger. However, the treatment which is supposed to be relaxing ended up in having an unusual problem.
Zhang Nan decided to go to a nearby spa to have his skin treatment. The process of the treatment is like the unusual way of getting rid of dead skin cells of the feet by soaking them on water filled with small fishes. However, the difference is that this process requires submerging the naked body with live eels. The rationale is the same actually. These eels will peel off the dead skin cells and will help in looking younger.
Though the process seemed to be effective at first, Zhang experienced a sharp pain realizing that a 6-inch eel entered his penis. “I climbed into the bath and I could feel the eels nibbling my body. But then suddenly I felt a severe pain and realized a small eel had gone into the end of my penis”. said Zhang. The eel was even wiggling up through his urethra. He tried to pull off the eel but the wet and slippery eel pushed through and entered his system.
This alarmed Zhang so he was rushed to the nearest hospital where he had his surgery. The surgery lasted for three hours and ended when the dead eel was removed.
It may be an unusual and freakish story but this was not the first case recorded. A surgery also solved an unusual case when a 0.79 inch fish was removed from a boy’s bladder. It was reported that the boy was holding the fish while urinating when it climbed up and entered his penis.
Worseing HIV Cases
The rare situations might have been prevented if these men are only more careful. However, there are a lot of other serious cases that men and women should focus on which includes HIV prevention. More and more cases of HIV are recorded all over the world.
As both men and women are prone to sexually transmitted diseases, both are advised to seek medical attention. Moreover, men’s cases of HIV are continuously increasing because of man-to-man contact. Most men do not seek for medical consultations which can worsen the disease that can be fatal.
