‘Black Sails’ Season 2 Spoilers – New Pirate Ned Low And Expanding World [Watch Video]
The producers of "Black Sails" have released a new video that shows what the fans can expect to see in Season 2 of the show. The video shows the new pirate Ned Low and new locations the show will take the viewers. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]
Some of the fans of "Black Sails" may have already seen the new pirate Ned Low in a previously released teaser trailer of Season 2. The new pirate will have brutal ways of conducting his business and will not hesitate when it comes to killing people. The character has a distinguishing look with a scar under his discoloured right eye.
Hannah New, who plays the role of Eleanor Guthrie, speaks about how Nassau will get visited by some of the most vicious pirates that existed in history. The actor Zach McGowan said that Ned Low represented the lawlessness of the time. The actor plays the role of Captain Charles Vane, who took control of the island in the previous season.
Another new character that the producers will introduce in "Black Sails" Season 2 is Abigail Ash. Jonathan E. Steinberg, the co-creator of the show, said that the character will first be seen as a hostage but will later emerge as the key to civilising Nassau. Her father is the Governor of the Carolina colony and this makes her a bargaining chip for her captors. Captain Flint is seen proposing that the girl be sent back to her father to win his support.
"Black Sails" Season 2 will also explore the back stories of some of the characters and take the viewers to new locations like London and Charleston and other places of the world that were affected by piracy in the past. The upcoming season will feature a new clean shaven look of Captain Flint and will show where he is heading and why.
"Black Sails" Season 2 will show the fans what the driving force for Captain Flint is, as it explores his past in more detail. The complicated relationship between him and Thomas Hamilton will be revealed and the video shows Flint having an affair with Miranda. According to the producers, the theme of the show is about understanding civilisation and how it can sometimes be uncivilised.
