'Black Sails' Season 4 production update: Toby Stephens (Flint) confident you will love it
The cast and crew of Starz TV series “Black Sails” have been busy filming Season 4. Toby Stephens promises the fans that their wait will be rewarded handsomely and the actor is very confident that the fans will love what the cast and crew have created for them.
The pirate show has been growing with each season. Season 3 featured one of the biggest scenes of the show so far, in which the pirates faced a storm and survived. The finale episode featured one of the biggest battle sequences, in which the pirates and freed slaves took on British soldiers on both land and sea.
In a Tweet, Stephens (Flint) said that the filming is close to being finished. He said that it has been a long, tough shoot, but is sure the fans will love the end result. In another tweet he said that the next season will “blow your minds” and added that he was “proud to be on board this ship.”

Toby Schmitz (Rackham) also shared a picture from the set recently. The picture shows fellow cast member Luke Arnold (John Silver) and others. The role of John Silver is expected to be enhanced in “Black Sails” Season 4, after the events in the finale episode.

Clara Paget (Anne Bonny) wished Schmitz on his birthday recently. She posted a picture of her in a scene with Schmitz online. The picture was modified to add birthday decorations and Paget called her fellow cast member her “partner in sea crime.”

Zach McGowan is not expected to come back in “Black Sails” Season 4. However, the actor was not forgotten on his birthday and wished on twitter. A few behind the scenes pictures from the set have also surfaced online, showing the fans the progress of the production. The TV series will return on Jan. 28, 2017 and this is expected be the concluding season of the TV series.
