Wednesday brings two much-awaited events, the Super Bowl and Blackberry's much-delayed and craved official debut of the Blackberry 10-and you can watch both in the comforts of your own home.

Blackberry maker Research in Motion (RIM) has been gearing up the public with the Super Bowl as viewers all over the world-from New York to Dubai-will simultaneously view the launch of the newest line of Blackberry, reports The Globe and Mail.

Computerworld also reports that RIM has is set to release two phones as early as February 3 at a New York event.

The new Blackberry: Keyboard-less, but hot

Comparisons between the Blackberry 10 OS z10 handset and the iPhone cannot be avoided, but the pleasant surprise for Blackberry fans is that, after five years of waiting, the z10 is worth it-potentially even a good rival for the iPhone. A true evolution from its predecessor, the z10 is all touch screen, not even the home button that the iPhone 5 and its predecessors have always had.

Apple's rain on Blackberry's parade: budget iPhones and a 128GB iPad

Since mobile news are circulating more and more on the Blackberry 10 release, CMS Wire reports that Apple may be trying to get the upper hand-or at least a part of the attention-with its announcement of a 128GB model iPad, according to Gizmag.

In addition, there has also been more concrete progress as to the mythical budget iPhones. iLounge reports that the budget iPhone will not only be made mostly of plastic, but will also be a new generation cross-model of the iPhone 5, the fifth generation iPod touch, and the iPod classic.

This means a combination of the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5, an overall shape reminiscent of the classic, and a bottom design that borrows from the iPod touch.

If these latest developments can bring Apple back on the main track remains to be seen, but many Super Bowl and Blackberry fans, as well as potential new users will be standing by for the big launch this Wednesday.
