NBC's new drama series "The Blacklist" is like finding a mystery box within a mystery box. Red (James Spader), the most wanted man in FBI's list, walks in the FBI building one fine day and negotiates a deal, with a condition that he will only talk to Elizabeth Keene (Megan Boone). He plants the seed of doubt in the mind of Liz against her husband.

The doubt starts to spread its tentacles when she finds a box containing her husband's fake passports, cash and a gun. At the end of Episode 6 of "The Blacklist, "Gina Zanetakos," Liz starts believing in the innocence of her husband, and calls Red a sick man. At the moment everything is a mystery in "The Blacklist." It looks like each character is hiding some secret.

The upcoming episodes of "The Blacklist" promises to untangle some of the mysterious knots and it is possible that some mysteries may get deeper and will remain unresolved for some time. In one of the episodes, a man from Liz's past will contact her. According to Entertainment Weekly, Sam, played by William Sadler, is "gravely ill" and "will reach out to Liz." Liz has some past connection with him.

Entertainment Weekly reports that "The Blacklist" team has also enlisted comedian Andrew Dice Clay for one of the episodes. He will play the role of plastic surgeon, Dr. Maltz. This plastic surgeon has changed the face of one of the criminals in the blacklist. "Liz and Red try to convince him to reveal the identity," according to the report.

Another name in the blacklist is that of Nathaniel Wolf, played by Justin Kirk. Entertainment Weekly states that Wolf is the "founder of a movement of anti-capitalists."

"The Blacklist" Episode 7: "Liz and the FBI track the criminal responsible for a chemical attack on a subway. Elsewhere, Liz reluctantly reaches out to Red to help nab a brilliant scientist (Robert Sean Leonard)," according to the official synopsis of episode 7, "Frederick Barnes."
