Liz has been hiding someone or something behind a closed door. Red, who has a web of resources to unearth any secret, has been unable to find out what is Liz hiding from him. Liz's secret is going to be revealed in episode 6, which is subtitled "The Mombasa Cartel." Also, this episode of "The Blacklist" features the "deadly underworld of wildlife poachers."

According to the preview clip, "Someone is into the sport of hunting human blood money, leading the FBI into a twisted game. And, what Lizzie keeping behind the door will finally be revealed. This is "The Blacklist" that everyone will be talking about."

It is being speculated that Liz is hiding Tom Keen behind the closed door. Liz dreamed about Tom in episode 3. According to Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, viewers will see Tom "in flesh" and that "he may find some new allies in a case of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'."

"The Blacklist" Season 1 finale saw Liz shooting Tom. He said sorry to her and whispered something in her ear [her father is alive] and passed out. It looked like he was dead. But, when the cops arrived at the spot, they did not find Tom's body. This triggered speculations that Tom is likely to be alive and the storyline of Liz's secret is confirming that the speculations were right.

The episode may also reveal whether the woman that Red went to see at the end of episode 5 is his daughter Jennifer or not. He took the help of a DMV official to track her down. When Red approached Aram, seeking his help to track down a girl, Liz was furious and told Red not to use FBI for his personal work. She later admitted to Samar that she felt jealous that Red was looking for his daughter, as she feels possessive about him. If Red finds out that it is Tom that Liz is hiding, she may have some answering to do.
