It is "The Blacklist" Season 2 mid-season finale on Monday night. The episode 8 is titled "The Decembrist." The preview of the episode indicates that the episode will revolve around the storylines of Berlin and Red and Liz and Tom Keen.

The final moments of the last episode, "The Scimitar," saw Red introducing Zoe to Berlin, saying "Is this the daughter you're referring to. Because she is not my daughter. She is yours." In the preview of "The Decembrist," Red can be seen telling Berlin, "All these years you believed that I murdered your daughter. What were you told? Who did the telling?"

According to the synopsis of episode 8, Berlin and Red will be travelling together to Russia to confront the person who used Berlin to wage a war against Red. This person is "The Decembrist," the latest blacklister. Entertainment Weekly has hinted that Red and Berlin are going to team up.

The last season's final episodes revealed that Red surrendered to the FBI because he wanted to use the FBI's resources to make his unknown enemy reveal himself. Berlin was targeting his assets and business interests because he thought that Red had brutally murdered his daughter and then had sent him her body parts in the prison. Now that his daughter is not dead, Berlin does not have a reason to attack Red. He and Red will try to track down a high ranking Russian official who they believe is responsible for making Berlin hunt Red, according to the synopsis.

Meanwhile, Liz will have to decide whether to keep Tom alive or whether to pull the trigger and kill him, as he is no longer needed to get information on Berlin. The photos of the episode reveal that Tom gets to step out of his makeshift prison. However, it is not good news for him. In a photo, Agent Ressller seems ready to beat him to a pulp.

According to the official synopsis of "The Blacklist" Season 2 Episode 8, "The Decembrist,": "Red's motives for Berlin take a sudden turn when he learns Berlin was manipulated by the latest Blacklister to avenge Red. Red and Berlin travel to Moscow to track down a high ranking Russian official who they believe is responsible. Meanwhile, Liz struggles to keep her secret from unravelling."
