Red and Berlin are finally going to meet in "The Blacklist." It is the moment over 20 years in the making, according to the preview of "The Blacklist" Episode 2, "Monarch Douglas Bank." It is hard to believe that a man like Red does not know much about Berlin and why he is seeking revenge. The new episode is likely to reveal how much Red knows about his enemy and if their paths have crossed before.

The episode 1 of "The Blacklist" Season 2 introduced Red's ex-wife, Naomi Hyland, who has been in the witness protection program for the past 20 years. In the premiere episode "Lord Baltimore," Berlin's target was not Red or Liz but Naomi. The FBI and Red figured that out but they were unable to stop Berlin's men from abducting Naomi. At the end of the episode, Red received a package, containing a box and a cell-phone. On the phone, Berlin said to Red:

"I'm going to do to your wife what you did to my daughter. I'm going to send her back to you piece by piece by piece."

The box contained the severed finger of Naomi. Berlin believes that Red is responsible for his daughter's death and then he sent her body in pieces. With revenge on his mind, Berlin is doing the same thing with Red's former wife. The preview of this week's episode reveals that Red will be receiving a tooth of Naomi.

Meanwhile, Cooper is back in action in episode 2. He is seen in the preview saying, "we've totally lost control of the situation. Berlin gone. Red's wife gone." There is a glimpse of Naomi hitting Berlin's face, though it is not clear whether she manages to escape.

And, it looks like this week's name on the blacklist is that of a bank, as the synopsis of the episode says that Red will find an opportunity to take this bank down after a robbery there. Also, Mozhan Marnò is returning in this episode. The actress has signed on as a series regular. Her character Mossad agent Samar Navabi will be joining the FBI taskforce.
