“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 17 started with an FBI motorcade transporting Solomon. They stopped and planned to shoot Solomon, but a sniper was planted somewhere and killed all the marshals, allowing Solomon to escape.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Megan Boone) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) were arguing about their wedding plans. They talked about when they should get married, since Liz wanted to do it quickly considering her growing belly. Later, while Tom was busy preparing for the wedding, he was unaware that his ex-girlfriend was following him the whole time.

Liz visited Red (James Spader) and learned that Solomon escaped. Solomon was also aiming for a nuclear war. They discovered that Solomon and his group are planning to hit the US Navy shipment and steal the nuclear warheads. The villain was able to steal radiation equipment and he had an unidentified woman with her. It was revealed that she was Harper Waters, previously part of the US Navy nuclear defense team.

Red told Liz that she should delay the wedding and stop Solomon from his evil plan, but Liz did not agree on prolonging her engagement.

Elizabeth informed the FBI about Solomon and her wedding date. She said that they have to work on Solomon’s case and would understand if they could not attend her wedding.

The team rushed to a motel and captured Harper. Back at the FBI headquarters, Harper tries to make a deal that she should reveal all of Solomon’s plans in exchange for full immunity and zero jail time.

Back at the apartment, Tom’s ex-girlfriend Gina and The Major appeared and planned to kill Tom for failing to target Liz as he was ordered. Just when The Major was supposed to shoot Tom, Gina killed the former. She kissed Tom and stormed out.

After Tom got rid of The Major’s body, he confessed everything to Liz and told her that he would understand if she would not want to marry him. Liz, however, saw through it all and still wanted to proceed.

As the team was preparing their assault against Solomon, they realized that the enemy’s nuclear plan was only a diversion to get rid of all the FBI agents. Solomon was actually aiming for Liz’s wedding. Only Red and a few men were available, arming themselves while keeping guard outside the church. Red went inside and interrupted the wedding, telling Liz that Solomon is coming for her.

Liz believed that it was her mother who contracted Solomon to get her. A gun battle ensued and Liz and Tom escaped in their wedding car.

The next episode of “The Blacklist” Season 3 will air on Apr. 14 on NBC.
