In Season 3 Episode 18 of “The Blacklist,” Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) will be attempting to escape the onslaught of Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) and his men. Someone special has commanded Red’s (James Spader) long nemesis to go after them, but apparently cares enough for Liz. Could it be her mother?

Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Blacklist” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the new episode airs.

“After a tragedy puts a member of the team in grave danger, the task force must rely on Red and his unconventional methods to survive. Meanwhile, Tom and Liz face an unexpected complication that could affect their baby’s future,” stated the episode synopsis on SpoilerTV.

Previously, Liz, Tom, Red and were preparing for an attack by Solomon after the latter diverted the FBI so he can reach them without distractions.

In the promo video, Liz and Tom were featured trying to escape Mr. Solomon and his men who launched an attack against them at the church where they were supposed to get married. She and her child’s life may be put at risk, which would require emergency C-section to deliver the baby. The clip stated that the the greatest shock of all is yet to come. Red was also worried about Liz and her baby’s condition.

“Look at her lying there in this barbaric situation with her child’s life at risk, everything is not fine,” said Red in the promo video.

“Mr. Solomon: Conclusion,” is a follow-up of Episode 17, titled “Mr. Solomon.” The man who hired Solomon to go after Liz, Tom and Red have yet to be revealed, although Liz believes that it was her mother, Katerina Rostova, who was behind it all. It turns out that Liz is Masha Rostova, and Red thinks that people are after her after the fact came out. It is possible that Liz’s mother will surface in the next episode.

Solomon was ordered to keep Liz alive, although he could kill everyone else. The order alone could mean that someone cared about Liz enough to keep her safe.

“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 18 will air on Apr. 14 on NBC in the US and on Channel Seven in Australia. More updates and details are expected soon.
