The latest promotional video for Season 3 Episode 5 of “The Blacklist” shows Liz Keen (Megan Boone) in a dire situation.

The upcoming episode, titled “Arioch Cain,” will have Liz still on the run with Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader), FBI’s most wanted criminal. The two will be in danger in as the agency closes in on them. The plot will follow Liz as she attempts to escape the people who are out to get her, iDigital Times reveals. One intense scene featured Red in an airplane hangar with Liz, telling the latter to put her gun down. He seemed to be surrendering to agents who aim to arrest Liz.

In the episode synopsis on TV.com, Liz will be put in a worse situation due to a huge bounty placed on her. In the promo footage, a blacklister will decide to take justice into his own hands.

Aram (Amir Arison), the tech expert of the FBI, will inform Mossad agent Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno) that someone has placed a huge bounty on Keen, a former FBI agent who turned into a fugitive. Red will try to protect Liz against anything or anyone that comes her way, especially now that various assassins around the world will be looking for her. Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) is also determined to help and save Keen. Tom was previously planning to start fresh in Japan but returned immediately when he discovered that Liz was in danger.

In the video, Special Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) announced that they will not cover Liz and will arrest her for killing Assistant Attorney General Tom Connolly (Reed Birney). Connolly was killed in Season 2 of “Blacklist.”

A new villain is also set to appear in the coming episodes. Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) was first featured in Episode 4, Mr. Solomon inflicted some damage on Vargas (Paul Reubens) and Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq). More about Dembe may also be featured in future episodes. iDigital Times adds that Vargas will reappear to thicken the plot.

Red is starting to wonder why Dembe, his reliable bodyguard, was not at their rendezvous point as previously planned.

“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 5 will air on Oct. 29 at 9:00 pm on NBC.
