‘Blue Bloods' Season 5 Recap: Episode 2 'Forgive and Forget' Aired On Oct. 3, 2014, Accidental Shootings, An Ostracized Cop And A Re-Opened Case Are Faced By The Reagans [WATCH VIDEOS]

"Blue Bloods" starring Donnie Wahlberg (Daniel "Danny" Reagan) and Tom Selleck (Francis "Frank" Reagan) aired "Forgive and Forget" (Season 5, episode 2) on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014. This episode focused mostly on Jamison "Jamie" Reagan (Will Estes) and an ostracized police officer that he befriended. It also touched upon Danny and Erin Reagan's (Bridget Moynahan) issue about a re-opened case. "Blue Bloods" Season 5, episode 2 "Forgive and Forget" was written by Ian Biederman and directed by Eric Laneuville. Here's what happened in "Forgive and Forget." Officer Kara Walsh (Tonya Glanz) got ostracized by his fellow cops because she testified against her partner. However, Jamie decided to ignore the other police officers and volunteered to ride with Kara for a week. This did not sit well with the other cops, including his partner Eddie (Vanessa Ray).

As for Danny and Erin, they clashed with each other regarding an old case which involved Damon Williams, who accidentally killed Isabel Green with a stray bullet. He went to prison for it. And now that he's out of prison and Isabel died, Danny was asked by Isabel's father if he could do anything about getting Damon back in prison for murder.

Danny approached Erin about it, but Erin didn't want to file charges against Damon after seeing that he is now a changed man, who wants to help other people.

On the other hand, Frank had to deal with an accidental shooting between two cops who had a drink while on duty. He was also visited by "The NFL Today" analyst and former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason.

"Nobody trusts Walsh so if you ride with her, no one's gonna trust you," Eddie said to Jamie in the "Forgive and Forget" video posted on YouTube.
