"Blue Bloods" starring Donnie Wahlberg (Daniel "Danny" Reagan) and Tom Selleck (Francis "Frank" Reagan) aired "Burning Bridges" (Season 5, episode 3) on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. This episode focused mostly on gender differences, equality and acceptance in the police force. Read on for the "Blue Bloods" Season 5 recap of episode 3 "Burning Bridges" to find out what happened to Danny and company.

"Blue Bloods" Season 5, episode 3 "Burning Bridges" was written by Willie Reale and directed by John Behring. Here's what happened in "Burning Bridges." Detective Alex Fuentes (Frank Pando) is gay and was recently outed. But, his partner Jerrie Demarest (Danny McCarthy) feels that he can't trust Fuentes anymore for keeping a secret like that from him for eight years. That's why their boss had to separate them and partner them each with Danny and Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez). Danny was assigned to pair up with Demarest, while Baez will be Fuentes' partner.

As for the other Reagans, they had an interesting time in this episode too. Frank spoke up about gender equality which caused the Archdiocese to take notice. Plus, Jamie and his partner Edit "Eddie" Janko (Vanessa Ray) had some business to attend to which involved a detective who is known for his arrogance. They embarked on a mission to steal his collar.

"Blue Bloods" Season 5, episode 3 "Burning Bridges" also featured Detective Mike Hofferman/Hoffman (Kevin O'Donnell), Kevin Monroe (Madison Hatch), Todd Kowalchuck (Volney Stefflre), a stenographer named Anne (Natalie Gal), Davey Lugo (Kevin Sebastian) and a reporter named Robert (Harry Sutton Jr.).
