‘Blue Bloods' Season 5 Recap: Episode 5 'Loose Lips' Aired On Oct. 24, 2014, Jamie And Edit Get Targeted By An Abusive Murderer [WATCH VIDEOS]

"Blue Bloods" starring Donnie Wahlberg (Daniel "Danny" Reagan) and Tom Selleck (Francis "Frank" Reagan) aired "Loose Lips" (Season 5, episode 5) on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014. This episode focused on Jamie, Edit, Henry and Nicky's issues that put their lives and reputations on the line. "Blue Bloods" Season 5, episode 5 "Loose Lips" was written by Daniel Truly and directed by Alex Chapple. Here's what happened in "Loose Lips." Jamie tried to help a girl who was being beaten up by her ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, the girl died before Jamie could protect her. She was killed by her ex-boyfriend. However, Jamie's life was put in danger because the girl had his business card on her and the killer targeted Jamie. While on duty with Edit (Vanessa Ray), Jamie's hand got burned.

Meanwhile, Frank tried to do some damage control to help Henry (Len Cariou) get out of the mess he made due to some controversial comments which were recorded unbeknownst to him.

Aside from Henry, Nicky (Sami Gayle) also got in trouble for some comments that she tweeted about her social studies professor.

Edit was also targeted by Jamie's attacker. She was kidnapped and almost killed. Thankfully, Danny and Jamie got there in time to save her.

"I'm a police officer. I mean, I'm off duty but, here. Jamie Reagan, what's your name?" Jamie asked Tina, an abused woman he saw crying on a bench while he was out jogging.

"Hey you listen to me. You want a piece of my partner, you gotta go through me first. I'll kill you," Edit said to the perpetrator in the "Blue Bloods" "Loose Lips" clip posted on the show's official YouTube channel.
