"Blue Bloods" Season 5, episode 3 "Burning Bridges" is directed by John Behring and written by Willie Reale. According to the Futon Critic and TV Guide, in "Burning Bridges," Danny and his full-time partner Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) will be separated temporarily because they will be assigned new partners. This whole situation is caused by one of their fellow officers who will be outed. In turn, his partner will refuse to ride with him. Meanwhile, Frank will speak out about equality and will ruffle some feathers including the Archdiocese. As for Edit "Eddie" Janko (Vanessa Ray) and her partner Jamie, they will work on a mission which involves stealing a collar from an egotistical detective.
