‘Blue Bloods' season 6 spoilers: 'Stomping Grounds' centres on two complicated murder cases

The 13th instalment of "Blue Bloods" Season 6, titled “Stomping Grounds,” promises another thrilling set of twists and turns involving the Reagans. Frank (Tom Selleck) finds himself dealing with the consequences of a crime investigation that involves a friend and colleague.

The episode will also feature other “Blue Bloods” cast members including Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Jamie (Will Estes), Henry (Len Cariou), Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), Linda (Amy Carlson), Nicky (Sami Gayle) and Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray).

According to TV Guide, “Stomping Grounds” will feature Baez as she seeks to arrest a drug dealer for committing murder years ago, which she witnessed as a young girl. Meanwhile, Frank deals with a complicated homicide case involving a newly retired lieutenant who is accused of shooting potential muggers and disappearing after the incident.

The episode preview opens with a retirement party, wherein Frank will be heard saying, “Thank you for your service, lieutenant.” In another scene, Frank will talk be seen talking to the retired lieutenant on the phone. “You know you need to turn yourself in,” Frank says. The lieutenant replies, “Do what you have to do, because I’ll do what I have to.” The trailer’s last scene focuses on the armed lieutenant being cornered by the police. “Put down the gun,” Erin pleads. “Stomping Grounds” is directed by Don Thorin, Jr. and written by Peter Blauner. "Blue Bloods" Season 6 episode 13 will also feature guest stars Lt. Tim Harrison (Michael O’Keefe), Sgt. Ray Langley (Tam Mutu), Octavio Nunez (Louie Ski Carr), Det. Ted Foster, (Stephen Hill), Carmen Baez (Saundra Santiago) and Ana Baez (Liza Colón-Zayas).
