'Blue Bloods' Season 7 Episode 11 spoilers: Eddie and Jamie run into a huge problem; Frank deals with a cheating issue on ‘Genetics’
After almost a month of being off the air, “Blue Bloods” returns this Friday with another exciting episode. The hit police drama series welcomes the new year with a new battle to fight on Season 7 Episode 11, titled “Genetics.”
Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray), who have captured fans with their love story, get back into professional mode and work on a difficult adoption case. The two struggle as the case becomes too complicated for them to handle, and they eventually seek Erin’s (Bridget Moynahan) assistance to settle the dispute.
Other “Blue Bloods” characters who will appear prominently on the Jan. 6 run include Frank (Tom Selleck), Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), Henry (Len Cariou), Linda (Amy Carlson) and Nicky (Sami Gayle).

According to TV Guide, Friday’s episode also centres on Frank, who delves into reports of NYPD cadets cheating on their psychological exams. Danny, on the other hand, finds out that Jack is mulling over entering the Marines after graduation.
CBS has posted a sneak peek of the Jan. 6 episode of “Blue Bloods” on its official site. In the trailer, two mothers argue over one son. Jamie is also seen asking Erin what she knows about adoption law. “It’s an emotional minefield,” she replies. Later, one of the mothers is seen in an airport, talking to Erin. “No one understands,” the mother insists as her son looks on. “You’re about to kidnap your son,” Erin says. “Walk out of here with me. Right now.”
