'Blue Bloods' Season 7 Episode 17 spoilers: Jamie and Eddie’s relationship may be on the rocks; couple suspects foul play in ‘Shadow Of A Doubt’

After a brief hiatus, “Blue Bloods” returns on Friday, promising to deliver another gripping episode filled with drama and action. Fans are in for a treat on Season 7 Episode 17, titled “Shadow Of A Doubt,” as it focuses on partners Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray).

The two investigate a possible case of foul play involving an EMT and his wife. Jamie and Eddie finds it suspicious when a woman places a distress call after suffering from an allergic reaction to her medication and her EMT husband doesn’t respond. Outside their work, spoilers suggest that there also seems to be trouble in paradise between Jamie and Eddie, as another woman comes into the picture.

Other “Blue Bloods” characters who will appear prominently on the March 10 run include Frank (Tom Selleck), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Linda (Amy Carlson), Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), Henry (Len Cariou) and Nicky (Sami Gayle).

Earlier in February, actor Will Estes shared a behind-the-scene shot with “Royal Pains” actress Sarah Mezzanotte. He captioned the Instagram photo, “Me and my new partner on Blue Bloods!” The post, which has since earned more than 5,000 likes, prompted fans to speculate that a love triangle may be brewing.

According to TV Guide, Friday’s episode also features Frank, who finds himself handling another PR crisis when an exposé on Garrett leaks out. Erin, on the other hand, runs into big trouble when she discovers that a man she convicted years before may be innocent after all.

CBS has posted a sneak peek of the March 10 episode of “Blue Bloods” on its official site. The trailer shows a montage of the Reagan family’s job. Fans are reminded that in the Reagan family, fighting for justice and keeping their city safe is all in a day’s work.

Frank is seen emphatically saying, “We have a common goal here: to put an end to blood on these streets.” Erin, on the other hand, points out that her job is to get a dangerous killer off the streets. Donnie is also seen in the teaser telling someone, “There are 30,000 cops in the city. You’ll never know how much we’re going to be watching you.”

“Shadow Of A Doubt” is directed by PJ Pesce and written by Kevin Riley.
