'Blue Bloods' Season 7 Episode 8 spoilers: Romance blooms between Eddie and Jamie; a rape victim becomes a murder suspect in ‘Personal Business’

Good news for “Blue Bloods” fans – the hit cop series finally pursues a romantic storyline between two favourite characters. In the eighth installment of Season 7, aptly titled “Personal Business,” Jamie (Will Estes) takes the next step with Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) and acts on their feelings for each other.

Followers of “Blue Bloods” have certainly been waiting long enough for the Jamie-Eddie love story, considering the sexual tension between the two. Also on Friday’s episode, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) delve into a domestic abuse case that leads to murder. Other “Blue Bloods” cast members who will appear prominently on the Nov. 11 run include Frank (Tom Selleck), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Henry (Len Cariou), Linda (Amy Carlson) and Nicky (Sami Gayle).

According to TV Guide, Friday’s episode focuses on Eddie, who gets jealous when Jamie allows a young woman to stay at his apartment. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez are perplexed when a woman seeks their help about her abusive ex-boyfriend. When the guy turns up dead, the victim becomes the prime suspect. Elsewhere, Frank struggles to decide how to deal with a sergeant who fails to stop an armed robbery while he was off-duty.

CBS has posted a sneak peek of the Nov. 11 episode of “Blue Bloods” on its official site. In the trailer, Danny arrests a young woman who’s carrying a gun. She begs to let her explain what happened – she said a man raped her. At the dinner table, the Reagans discuss the case, with Erin insisting that the murder charge is warranted. Danny, on the other hand, argues that the woman is a murder suspect because she’s a rape victim.

“Personal Business” is directed by David Barrett and written by Ian Biederman.
