Things are heating up in the Boardwalk Empire season 4, episode 4. Plots thicken as Nucky Thompson is interested in making more money, and there is mutiny brewing right under Chalky white's nose.

Nucky Thompson:

Nucky plans to move to Tampa, to buy the land his friend had showed him. Does he know that there has been a murder in Tampa? He needs a partner to make the large investment and tries to rope in Arnold Rothstein.

Arnold wants Nucky to play poker with him, in order to determine whether or not to be his partner. Arnold loses badly in the game and continues to lose long after Nucky leaves the table.

Meyer rises in prominence, as he is offered the partnership instead of Arnold. Will this mark the beginning of a dispute between Arnold and Meyer? How will he manage to get half a million dollars in 48 hours?

Chalky White and Dr. Narcisse:

Dr Narcisse reveals his plan for a takeover of the city from likes of Chalky White and Nucky Thompson. He is turning out to be a big threat to Nucky, although an unseen one. The man has a complex character and a big ego to boot.

He has successfully convinced Chalk's right hand man to work for him. The money from the heroin business is set to fuel his ambition. When will the confrontation between Dr Narcisse and Nucky Thompson begin? Future episodes from Boardwalk Empire season 4 will answer that question.

Eli' Son gets into Trouble:

Eli's son in college is in big trouble, he was out to get his revenge on a rival over a girl. He mixed a chemical concoction to make his rival visit the bathroom very often. The chemical has a severe impact on the boy and he ends up dead.

Al Capone and George Muller:

Al Capone is at his violent best has he makes funny observations and comments as he goes about his money collection. He also tries to recruit George, who is not happy by the way his current employer treats him.

Eddie Kessler and Agent Knox:

The bureau of investigation is now after Nucky, they are tracking his activities and associates to prove a nationwide conspiracy. Agent Knox is the chief investigating officer and has already unearthed a lot of information.

Eddie, who is now part of Nucky's clandestine operations, gets picked up, after delivering a package of money. Will Eddie reveal anything? How long do you think Agent Knox has to live after crossing Nucky?
