‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Aug 16: Eric stands firm with his decision; Wyatt flips out at Liam

A highly emotional episode awaits fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) on its upcoming episode. On Tuesday, Eric (John McCook) refuses to back down after involving Quinn (Rena Sofer) not only in his personal life but in the family business, as well. He doesn’t seem to care whether his loved ones agree with him, and whether his decision hurts them.

Meanwhile, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) has an epic meltdown after hearing that his marriage may be over. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Aug.16 installment include Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas (Pierson Fode) and Sasha (Felicia Cooper).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Eric’s family grows frustrated and hostile in reaction to Eric’s decision about Quinn. Meanwhile, Wyatt and Liam butt heads about Steffy.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Aug.16 episode. It features multiple scenes with Eric, Quinn, Sasha, Thomas, Wyatt and Ridge.

On the first scene, Eric justifies his decision about Quinn. “I enjoy her companionship,” he says. “I appreciate her artistic skills and I know that she wants to make changes.” He then looks at Quinn lovingly. Elsewhere, Sasha wonders to Thomas, “What could you possibly want that you don’t have?”

Meanwhile, two brothers continue to argue about the woman they both love. “You’re being so ridiculous right now and totally out of line,” Wyatt accuses Liam. “I’m not going to stand here and let you predict the end of my marriage.”

Ridge wraps the trailer as he tells Eric, “My father wouldn’t do this – not to his family, not to me.”

In the previous episode, Eric shocked everyone – including Rick, Ridge, Pam and Steffy – after announcing that he’s hiring Quinn back to Forrester Creations. Steffy said Eric is asking too much of them, but he won’t listen to her pleas. Pam, meanwhile, claimed his decision would be a disrespect to Stephanie’s memory. Steffy wanted Eric to end things with Quinn. Meanwhile, Thomas and Sasha were busy with their budding romance. They talked about Julius and Zende. Thomas assured Sasha that she didn’t do anything wrong. “You felt loved by a man. That's something you never got from your father,” Thomas said. Elsewhere, Wyatt and Liam argued about Steffy. Wyatt insisted that he ordered Quinn to butt out of his life, but Liam said that the only way that Steffy can get distance from Quinn is by getting distance from Wyatt.
