‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Aug 29: Katie claims she’s moving on, throws shade on Brooke

A contrasting picture of budding romances and relationships beyond repair seems to be the central theme of the upcoming “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) episode. On Monday, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is at the receiving end of two opposite forces. On one side is Katie (Heather Tom), who says she’s ready to face the next chapter of her life, but still has nasty words for her sister.

Speaking of future, Bill (Don Diamont) sees one with Brooke – one that is much better than his life right now. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Aug.29 installment include Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas (Pierson Fode) and Sasha (Felicia Cooper).

Spoilers suggest that Bill’s marriage proposal to Brooke is not just about his emotional attachment to her. It’s actually part of his ploy to get her shares on Forrester Creations. What he doesn’t know is that his soon-to-be ex-wife is busy plotting her own schemes.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Aug.29 episode. It features multiple scenes with Bill, Katie, Brooke, Sasha and Thomas.

On the first scene, Bill tells Brooke that he sees the future with her. “And finally, life is good.” The preview also shows Katie as she only has nasty words for her sister. “Don’t restrain yourself on my account,” Katie says. “I’m moving on. I’m not like you – I don’t need a man to validate me. I can amuse myself until the right one comes along.”

Elsewhere, Sasha opens up to someone about her feelings for Thomas. “I don’t know where we’re headed,” she admits. “I just know that Thomas is a cool guy. I want to take the ride.”

In the previous episode, Katie and Ridge discussed about their failed marriages. She teased him about Brooke, saying that he’s spending a lot of time with her sister. She wondered if something is happening between them, but Ridge replied it’s purely business. Katie warned him that if he’s not careful, Brooke and Bill will get together and reminded him that what Bill wants, he usually gets.

Speaking of Bill, he told Brooke that they’re now free together, with Katie out of the picture. Bill was confident that Brooke still loves him, which was why she went over there. He realised shortly after, however, that she’s there because of Ridge’s influence. Bill just laughed when she asked him to sign his shares over to Ridge. Bill then proposed a deal: If she gets Katie to sign off on the divorce, he’ll give Brooke his Forrester shares on their wedding day.
