‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Dec. 21: Eric plans for another family reunion with clear intentions

It appears that families are bitten by the holiday bug on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Wednesday, Eric (John McCook) comes up with a brilliant idea in time for Christmas: gather everyone at the mansion and spend the festive time together.

Christmas is the perfect time for family reunions, but Eric’s motivation is more than catching up with his loved ones. He wants to try again and bring Quinn (Rena Sofer) closer to them, in hopes of making them accept her as his wife. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 21 installment include Rick (Jacob Young), Maya (Karla Mosley), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “B&B,” Ridge gives Brooke and RJ a guarantee that they’ll have a memorable holiday as a family. Meanwhile, Eric hopes that the Forresters will have a peaceful Christmas celebration.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Dec. 21 episode. [Watch below.] It features multiple scenes with Quinn, Eric, Rick and Maya.

Quinn opens the clip as she assures Eric, “It’s going to be wonderful – our first Christmas together.” He replies that it’s going to be another chance to unite their families. “Making Steffy CEO of the company hasn’t changed their attitude towards you yet, but maybe having them here for Christmas would do the trick,” Eric reckons.

Elsewhere, Rick also looks forward to the important occasion with his family. “What I really want is to spend the holiday with my wife and my daughter,” he says.

On Tuesday, Steffy assures Rick and Ridge that she can keep Quinn in check by pooling her shares with Eric’s. However, Rick is also worried about Wyatt, whom he dubbed the "Prince of Darkness." Ridge agreed that Wyatt’s turning into a puppet, and that Quinn is working hard to get her son and Steffy back together. Steffy insisted that everything’s under her control, then left to see Liam.

Later, Ridge recounted with Rick about seeing Quinn naked in the shower. She suddenly turned up, looking for Steffy. Once alone with Ridge, Quinn teased that he’s still thinking about last night. Ridge accused her of being delusional. When Quinn asked how she rates, Ridge replied that she’s got a really attractive body. While it’s the type his father always falls for, it won’t last – this will be her first and last Christmas as Mrs. Forrester.
