It may just be New Year’s Eve, but fireworks will already explode on Thursday’s episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful." Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will corner Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), and a confrontation about Liam will ensue.

The episode will also focus on Katie (Heather Tom), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Bill and Liam (Scott Clifton). [Spoiler Alert!]

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode of the "The Bold and the Beautiful," Brooke will turn emotional and grapple with answers as Katie interrogates her. Meanwhile, Liam will try to convince Steffy to avoid Ivy.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Dec. 31 episode. It features multiple scenes with Katie, Brooke, Bill, Steffy and Ivy.

In the first scene, Katie is seen saying that she does not want Brooke to feel alone or isolated ever again. The next part of the video focuses on Brooke and Bill. “I have to put what we had behind me,” Brooke says. “There’s really no other option.”

Meanwhile, Steffy and Ivy are seen going head to head in the next scene. “You went after my brother, now you want to go after Liam. Go to Australia,” Steffy tells Ivy.

The last scene shows Brooke again, this time with Katie. “Why are you crying?” Katie asks Brooke.

Scenes from the Dec. 31 episode will take off from the chaotic event last Wednesday. At Forrester Creations, Steffy witnessed what seemed to be an intimate moment between Liam and Ivy. Despite her suspicions, Liam was not betraying her. Ivy came to talk to Liam and apologise for all that has happened and promised him that it won’t happen again.

She then broke the news that she’ll be going back to Australia. While Liam disagreed, saying that running away will not resolve things, Ivy maintained her decision and said she couldn’t stay because of what she feels about him. She told Liam that he’ll always have her heart.

In the middle of their conversation, Steffy arrived just as Ivy was admitting that she thought Liam still loved her deep down. Liam then replied, “Of course I love you.” The two embraced, and Ivy bid goodbye.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs from Monday to Friday on CBS.
