‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Dec. 9: Quinn blows her top over Katie’s flirty move, experiences Liam’s wrath

Highly emotional confrontations and heated arguments continue to hound the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Friday, Quinn (Rena Sofer) has her hands full with a number of serious issues. For one, she receives quite an earful from Liam (Scott Clifton), who’s doing everything he can to distance Quinn from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

She’ll also find herself losing her temper when she learns that Katie (Heather Tom) is still getting quite friendly with Eric (John McCook). Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 9 installment include Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s episode of “B&B,” Katie pays her new neighbour a visit and gives Eric a token of appreciation. Meanwhile, Liam faces up to Quinn and tells her that he doesn't buy her act of being a changed woman.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Dec. 9 episode [watch below]. It features multiple scenes with Liam, Quinn, Ridge and Steffy. Liam opens the scene as she tells Quinn that he’s very proud of Steffy. “She absolutely deserves to be CEO,” he says. “But having you attached to the offer is a huge red flag that I see, even if she doesn’t.”

Later, he turns to Steffy and gives a good reason why she shouldn’t accept Quinn’s offer. “They’re going to encounter her bad side at the worst possible time and I’m trying to prevent that person to be you,” Liam insists. He reveals this in front of Ridge, who earlier warns Steffy about the proposal. “Don’t forget where this idea came from – this came from Quinn,” Ridge reminds her. “I don’t think she wants you to do this because she thinks you deserve it.”

On Thursday, Ridge tried to convince Eric to appoint him as CEO, arguing that Steffy’s too young and it’s not her time yet. However, Eric countered that he doesn’t trust Ridge anymore and insisted that the position belongs to Steffy if she wants it. Shortly after, Ridge left and Rick appeared. Eric told Rick about his job offer to Steffy, and the latter didn’t take it well. The arguments took a toll on Eric’s health and he found himself having a hard time breathing. Quinn saw Eric’s state and kicked Rick out.

Elsewhere, Liam also continued persuading Steffy that Quinn’s offer is anything but noble. He said that Quinn is trying to wrap Steffy up in a bow and hand her back to Wyatt. Ridge then arrived to talk to Steffy, warning her that if she accepts the offer, she’ll be Quinn’s ally. Later, Liam stormed to the Forrester mansion to confront Quinn. He bumped into Wyatt and an argument ensued between the two. Wyatt admitted that his mum wants him to get back together with Steffy, his wife. It’s not long before Liam finally got to face up to Quinn, who reckoned that Steffy will be CEO and Wyatt will be by her side. Liam ordered Quinn to stay away from Steffy.
