‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Jan. 17: Eric makes Katie squirm; Thomas shares some heartbreaking news; Ridge sees Quinn in a different light

Big revelations and stunning developments seem to be the central theme of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”) on its upcoming episode. On Tuesday, Katie (Heather Tom) continues to cast her doubts about Quinn (Rena Sofer), but Eric (John McCook) is confident that his marriage is rock solid.

However, Eric may have to eat his words soon – while Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) failed to seduce Quinn, it seems things will get hot and heavy between the two. Spoilers suggest that Quinn’s softer side would make Ridge understand her more. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 17 installment include Bill (Don Diamont), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Ridge sees a surprising side of Quinn, making him realise what exactly sets her off. Meanwhile, Thomas delivers a devastating revelation about his personal life.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Jan. 17 episode [watch below]. It features scenes with Eric, Katie, Steffy, Bill and Quinn.

On the first scene, Eric reassures Katie that she doesn’t have to worry about him and his wife. “Quinn and I are fine,” he says. “She trusts me as much as I trust her.” Elsewhere, Steffy tells someone, “I do think it’s possible that her feelings for granddad are genuine. I just know that I’m never going to trust her.”

Bill also figures in the trailer as he confidently claims, “There is no way in hell that her marriage with Forrester is ever going to happen.” Quinn, on the other hand, hollers, “I’m not giving that up! Not ever.”

On Monday, Katie learned that Eric, Quinn and Wyatt were able to convince Steffy to move out of Liam’s place and into the mansion. Katie reckoned pressuring Steffy was a smart move. She also reminded Wyatt that he wouldn’t be married to Steffy if Quinn hadn’t kidnapped Liam. Wyatt acknowledged that she’s right, but insisted that his feelings were real.

Elsewhere, Quinn warned Ridge that he’s not going to charm his way out of his latest stunt. An argument ensued, followed by Ridge’s admission that after he puts her in a compromising position, he’d send a photo to Eric. Quinn accused Ridge of being the ultimate womaniser, who gets women into bed to make them a conquest then drops them. “I’ve been that woman,” she said, then kicked him out of the hotel room.
