‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Jan. 23: Wyatt concedes, wants to finalise divorce from Steffy; Eric interrogates Ridge about sinful trip

Relationship troubles continue to loom large over the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Monday, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) finally decides to let go of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), realising that they’re not meant to be together. Spoilers suggest that Wyatt will act selfless and allow her to pursue a life with Liam (Scott Clifton).

However, it seems Liam will jump the gun and assume that Steffy is choosing Wyatt. This leads him to make a reckless decision, one that he may regret later on. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 23 installment include Eric (John McCook), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn (Rena Sofer).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s episode of “B&B,” Wyatt accepts defeat and gives Steffy the freedom that she wants to start anew with Liam. Ridge, on the other hand, finds himself in the hot seat when Eric badgers him about the trip with Quinn in San Francisco. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Jan. 23 episode [watch below]. It features scenes with Liam, Wyatt, Steffy, Eric and Ridge.

Liam opens the clip as he reckons, “Wyatt’s just going to have to get by without her.” Speaking of Wyatt, Steffy is talking to him about what’s left in their relationship. “What you want or what you’re hoping for… I can’t give it to you,” Steffy says. “I know my mum and Eric are helping out and all that, but I didn’t want you to be with me because everybody’s pressuring you to,” Wyatt tells her. Elsewhere, Eric tells Ridge, “I’m glad that you two are getting closer.”

Last week, Quinn and Ridge agreed to keep quiet about their kiss in San Francisco. Later, Quinn arrived home and hugged Eric, saying that she hates being away from him. Eric asked her about the symposium and he replied that it wasn’t what she expected. Eric was elated to hear that she and Ridge are getting closer. Quinn flashed back to drinking with Ridge and kissing him, even as she told Eric, “I don’t ever want to lose you.” Quinn was also in Ridge’s mind when Liam arrived to talk to him. Liam was taken aback when Ridge said that his plan will never work and that nothing happened with Quinn at all.

Earlier, Liam demanded Steffy to set Quinn and Wyatt straight that she’s not getting back with her husband. Liam also wanted Steffy to finalise the divorce as soon as possible, making her wonder why. Later, Steffy got a call from Wyatt, asking her to meet up. Liam blew his top and ordered Steffy to tell Wyatt that their marriage is over. She assured Liam that everything will be fine. What Liam and Steffy didn’t know was that Wyatt came to a conclusion – if he’s really the right guy for her, he shouldn’t have to convince her of it.
