According to Soaps.sheknows, here's what will happen in "The Bold and the Beautiful" on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014. Eric will make a highly anticipated announcement about Forrester Creations, including who will run the company after he steps down from his leadership position. Meanwhile, Rick thinks that he and Caroline have it in the bag and that they will be placed in positions of power in the company.

On the other hand, TV Guide reports that everyone else is waiting with bated breath on who Eric will announce as his successor to become the chief executive officer, or CEO of Forrester Creations. As for Rick, he is confident that his father will name him and his wife as his replacement.

CBS posted another video of the upcoming episode of "B&B" on their official channel in YouTube. It features scenes between Rick, Caroline, Eric, Ivy, Katie, Ridge and Maya. Rick will talk to Caroline about Ridge. As for Eric, he will worry about which son to choose as the new head of Forrester Creations. Meanwhile, Katie is wondering something about Caroline's crush. And, Ivy will reassure Eric that he will make a fair decision. Plus, Maya wants Katie and Rick to know about Ridge and Caroline's involvement.
